Yummy chilli chicken curry

I went out for beer and curry with my good friends Graham, Tom and Andy. The night started off in The Crown Tavern where a few glasses of Star were consumed whilst we all mulled over what it’s like to be a techy at the bottom of the pile in the corporations of today. We recounted stories of the usual lack of planning, underinvestment in administrative resources and a lack of appreciation of technological limitations of IT infrastructure. All that over a few pints, it was great to vent a little.

Before we got too drunk Graham suggested a walk “just up the road” for a curry. Unfortunately Grahams idea of “up the road” doesn’t equal that of the 3 fat bastards he was with. For us it was a trek across where rope, flashlights and crampons should have been provided.

This did mean however that we appreciated the pints of kingfisher when we finally arrived at the curry house. The silly stories and tales of wierdos in London carried on through the great-value curry, until we were full, and tired.

I caught the train home from waterloo and slept like a baby. A big fat snoring baby.

Was that a deliberate Serenity reference, or just subconscious?

    Shiny. :)
