Vista and OS X Broken but Ubuntu Secure

This has been all over the blogs and news. Some samples.. MacBook Air Hacked In Two Minutes, Vista finally falls when Adobe Flash is installed, Ubuntu Beats OSX and Vista in Pwn 2 Own Hackathon On the third day of the PWN to OWN Contest where three laptops (one Vista, one OSX, one Ubuntu) were exposed to allow experts attempt to 'break' or '0wn' them. "So at the end of the last day of the contest, only the Sony VAIO laptop running Ubuntu was left standing. " Nice to see :)

Ubuntu UK Podcast First Episode

Planes Trains and Automobiles

My journey from home to Boston was somewhat more convoluted than I imagined, but good fun and not too stressful. I had already packed my suitcase on Thursday night so I was pretty much ready to go on Friday morning. I had to pop out of the house to run an errand, and on the way out said to my wife "Clare, explain baggage carousels to Sophie (my 4 year old daughter) and put some stickers on my case". I now have a case covered in smiley faces, stickers of Pooh Bear and Tigger, and lots of little sparkly stars. There's no way I'll mix-up my luggage at the airport now!
