I hate the fact that many large enterprise level software vendors do not support open source software. I administer a GIS system (Gentran Integration Suite) that runs on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. It uses a web browser as the GUI but only IE. Even on my Windows laptop, I have to run IE tab in firefox to use the software and this is no mom and pop type software. We're talking hundreds of thousands of dollars. Until be beat it into their heads that microsoft is NOT enterprise, Linux on the desktop will suffer.
