I've posted here before (below), my 3rd card failed this week.
Thankfully, I bought the 3 year warranty and the card was replaced today under warranty.
As the engineer left, I said see you soon - he knew what I meant.
What is interesting with my problem is that I'd just bought the 24" LCD from Dell and started using that for my XPS Gen 2, and using the laptop monitor as a 2nd screen (connecting the 24" by DVI), previously failures were also when I started using external screens.
So it's either when the graphics card is working hard it causes failures, or heating issues as previously it's failed on me during a game when pushing the machine to it's limits.
I'm in no doubt, by fitting a refurbished 6800 Go Ultra as Dell always do, will mean I'm posting here within another 12 months and before my warranty expires.
On my 4th failure, my sense of humour will also fail ... I'll be demanding a laptop replacement with a newer model.
